Women Connecting to Jesus and One Another

“A new command I give you: Love one another.

As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34

 

The Heart to Heart Women’s Ministry at SCC is a ministry group of women of all ages who desire to show God’s love and reach out to others in a tangible way.  Heart to Heart provides a variety of connecting opportunities to allow every woman to develop their faith. The heartbeat of this women's ministry is for every woman to be changed to be more like Christ. And finally, cultivating a heart for others means that we will live out the “one anothers” in Scripture (Galatians 5:13, John 13:34, Colossians 2:19, James 5:16).

Ladies’ Morning Bible Study

 

The Bible Study will begin on Thursday, September 23rd at 10:00 a.m.

 in the church library.

 

The study, written by Max Lucado, is entitled “Give It All To Him”.  This moving parable excerpted from Lucado's Next Door Savior tells the story of the divine trashman who willingly shoulders our soul-polluting garbage so that we may stand pure before God.  If you would like to join this group or have any questions, please contact Peggy Myers at 322-7207.

Ladies’ Evening Bible Study

 

Walking by Faith: Lessons Learned in the Dark by Jennifer Rothschild contrasts the evidences of walking by faith and walking by sight.  It encourages participants to take risks, give God control, persevere through hardship, receive God’s gifts, be guided by the Truth rather than feelings, and seek God.  It can be well with your soul even when it is not well with your circumstance.

 

This Bible Study meets at the church every other Tuesday at  7pm and is led by Barb Griswold & Sharon Jennings.  If you would like to purchase a workbook for $11 please contact Sharon at 322-6556.
